Payment Policy

Draft information about payment methods, booking confirmation, declined payments, reversals, and security.

Draft — legal review required

This policy is draft information, not an approved contract or legal advice. It is not ready for publication as a final policy. Travelar must confirm the applicable legal entity, markets, contact details, effective date, and jurisdiction-specific terms with qualified counsel before relying on or publishing it as final.

1. Payment methods and total price

The payment methods available for a booking are the methods displayed at its checkout. Availability can vary by market, currency, provider, transaction value, and service. Review the total, currency, service details, taxes, and optional extras before confirming. Travelar does not add a separate service fee.

A bank, card issuer, wallet, or other payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or charges. Use only the payment instructions presented in the Travelar booking flow or by an authorised payment provider.

2. Authorisation and booking confirmation

A successful authorisation or debit notification does not always mean the travel booking is confirmed. A booking may still require supplier acceptance, inventory confirmation, ticket issuance, or another step. Wait for the booking status and confirmation, and save the booking and transaction references provided.

3. Failed, declined, or pending payments

A transaction may fail or remain pending due to incorrect details, issuer restrictions, insufficient funds, security checks, connectivity, provider delays, or other causes. Follow the displayed provider instructions and check the transaction status before trying again.

Do not share one-time codes, passwords, PINs, or full payment credentials with anyone claiming to troubleshoot a transaction.

4. Reversals and duplicate charges

A temporary authorisation may be released according to the payment provider and bank; a pending hold is not necessarily a final charge. For a suspected duplicate charge or a charge without a confirmed booking, retain the booking reference if available, transaction date, amount, currency, and payment method type. Never send a full card number, security code, PIN, password, or one-time code.

5. Refunds, providers, and payment security

Approved refunds follow the applicable booking terms, Refund Policy, and mandatory law. Timing varies by supplier, payment provider, bank, network, currency, and market. Third-party payment providers may process transaction and technical information under their own obligations.

Use a secure device and connection, verify the amount and merchant details, and contact your bank or payment provider promptly about suspected unauthorised activity. Contact Travelar through an official channel once a verified channel is available.

6. Disputes, taxes, and invoices

A payment concern can be raised for review without limiting legal rights or the ability to contact a payment provider. Tax treatment and invoice availability vary by supplier, jurisdiction, and product; the booking confirmation or supplier documentation identifies available transaction records.

7. Publication status

Before this policy can be finalised, Travelar must verify the live payment methods, providers, currencies, transaction and refund workflows, invoice practices, support channel, effective date, and market-specific requirements. This draft does not advertise any particular payment option as universally available.
